Was the Debate on global warming due to humans over before it even began?

Let me begin by saying I'm not a conservative. I'm not a nay-sayer, or a muck raker, and I'm certainly not an environmentalist. I am also not being paid by an oil company. I am a regular person working a regular job, and living a regular life.

I started this site because I want to establish a forum for people to openly and freely discuss their views on the topic of 'man-made' global warming without being compared to a holocaust denier, baby Seal clubber, or lawyer.

For the immediate future, I will do my best to present articles, essays, videos, and thought provoking pieces on this site in the hopes that it may spurr debate on the question of 'man-made' global warming. it is my hope that, through this site, I can open peoples minds about just how many elements affect the warming of the planet, and how little we know of some of them.

The world doesn't always work like anti-captalist environmentalists want it to look like. Think for yourself.

The Debate Haters:

Former Vice President Al Gore (November 5, 2007): “There are still people who believe that the Earth is flat.” (LINK) Gore also compared global warming skeptics to people who "believe the moon landing was actually staged in a movie lot in Arizona." (June 20, 2006 - LINK)

CNN’s Miles O’Brien (July 23, 2007):  "The scientific debate is over," O'Brien said. “We're done." O’Brien also declared on CNN on February 9, 2006 that scientific skeptics of man-made catastrophic global warming “are bought and paid for by the fossil fuel industry, usually.” (LINK)
